Coming to Town?
Planning a move to our area or even thinking about it? Well, we sure hope you do! We love it here, and would love it even more if you joined us in this little slice of God's paradise!
Of course, you already know the obvious: the climate, the water, year-round recreation and a livable, manageable metropolitan area on the move. But let us help fill you in on anything that's not so obvious that you'd like to know- the best doctors and attorneys, the neighborhoods, reputable realtors, the good schools, and, of course, the opportunities for Jewish living in our area. Our people would love to meet you, answer your questions and even show you around!
The first Jewish congregation in our area was organized more than 50 years ago. As the Jewish population increased and diversified, a Jewish Federation and Jewish newspaper were founded, and a number of relatively small congregations came into existence. Of course, now, with the rapid growth of our Jewish demography (over 50 Cohens in this years phone book!), Jewish life is really starting to flourish! Our Community Free Synagogue is the newest expression of this rapid Jewish expansion!
We are especially eager to meet people who enjoy a close-knit, hands-on active Jewish congregation. If you're simply looking for a place to drop off the kids for 2 hours on Sunday morning, we might not be for you. But if you enjoy the companionship of people who love to connect, to celebrate and to learn, CFS would be your new Jewish home in our area! Come grow with us!
If you'd like to talk with Rabbi Diamond personally, please call him "whenever" at 239 247-4556. HOME
