A Word to Bar/Bat Mitzvah Families
From Rabbi Diamond

As you know, a key element of our Community Free Synagogue mission is to provide an informal spiritual home to the thousands of unaffiliated Jewish households in our area by offering them a new way of “connecting” and celebrating their religious identities. Our people do not “belong” to our synagogue – our synagogue “belongs” to anyone who cares to participate. It's really that simple!

True to our philosophy, we are pleased to offer private tutoring without membership dues or “bar mitzvah fees”. This is accomplished through the generosity of some very wonderful people who are determined to see that every Jewish young person in our religion has a bar or bat mitzvah experience!

Our goal is to see to it that every barrier and obstacle to Jewish enrichment is removed!
